Why walk
Walking seems to enable focus, especially if:
- Walking until the feeling of warmth all over the body
- Usually takes about 20-25 mins of high-paced walking
- I assume this has smth to do with the activation of autonomous nervous system, but I obviously don't know enough about it. #research
- Have no stimulation like music or podcasts in parallel, but rather focus on being mindful, processing arising thoughts, or actively thinking
- Not being disturbed with notifications, ideally devices off or on DnD
In my experience this facilitates my focus for a few hours after such walk.
